For me and my sisters, puzzles have always been a big part of life. Now that we’re growing up, we still encounter different kinds of puzzles. We face challenges and hardships, and we face them together. That is why I decided to make this puzzle for my sisters. A puzzle represents resilience and strength, and each piece of this puzzle is a symbol found in nature. I wanted the mountains, sunrise, and river to be the focal points, because I think they are the strongest symbols. The mountains represent a challenge we have to overcome, and the sunrise depicts the start of a new day, a new beginning. The river wraps around the entire puzzle, with no end. This embodies the endless connection that sisters have with one another. This gift is a reminder to my sisters that even though I will be going away to college very soon, I will still be there with them, conquering our challenges and defeating our obstacles.
